Our products are handcrafted in small batches in our production studio in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Please visit the In-House Lab & Studio section of the website to get an in-depth look at our process and creative space. It's so important that we have complete quality control over the storage and production of all our ingredients and products. This allows us to ensure that everything, from our formulas to packaging is completed to our meticulous and ethical guidelines and standards. 

We use the finest, plant-based ingredients we can source ethically and sustainably. Many of our materials are grown and harvested in Canada. We love to use as many local growers and suppliers, while ensuring the utmost quality and consistency. We are proud that our potions contain NO GMO ingredients, parabens, phthalates, sulphates, mineral oils, or dyes.

Are your potions cruelty-free?

Yes, we are Leaping Bunny and PETA Certified. We are nature lovers and have an incredible respect for animals. Our products are tested on people, NOT animals. 

Where do you source your ingredients and materials?

Our ingredients & materials come from all over the world, depending on the material’s place of natural origin. Many of our ingredients are grown and harvested in Canada, such as our Fir Balsam, Calendula Herbal Oil, Neroli, Violet Leaf, Rose Maroc, Rosewood, Rose, Eucalyptus, Lemongrass, Chamomile, Tea Tree, Rose Geranium, Helichrysum (Immortelle) and Aloe Vera. Many of our citrus ingredients come from the orchards of Sicily & Italy. Our mints and many of our base note ingredients, such as Sandalwood, Coffee, Patchouli, and Vanilla, come from countries such as Madagascar, Bulgaria, France, India, Sri Lanka, Brazil, Morocco, Chile, Argentina and the United States.

Are your potions safe to use for expecting women?

Yes, our products are gentle, yet effective and safe for pregnant women. Our Founder, Lane Edwards, is a devoted mother of three children. She has taken great care in ensuring PURA potions are extremely safe, gentle and high performance. 

How long do your potions and skincare last?

Our products have a shelf life of approximately 12 months after opening depending on the specific product. Please make sure to store your potions out of direct sunlight, ideally at room temperature or below.
